Microsoft 365 Copilot: General Availability News

Microsoft has announced that Copilot will start to be available in Windows 11 from 26th September 2023, and then from 1st November, Copilot will be generally available in the Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise Customers.

Previously, to access Copilot you had to be one of the lucky organisations to be invited to the Early Access Program. Thankfully, this is all about to change with this latest announcement.

Below are some of the highlights:

  • Microsoft Copilot for Windows will be easily accessed by using the keyboard shortcut Windows+C. Once open, you can then engage with it in a similar way to how you might use Bing Chat or ChatGPT but better! They are also bringing the AI Capabilities to Paint, taking it to a whole new level. • Microsoft 365 Copilot will be integrated into the Office apps you use on a daily basis such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams. From the demos I've seen, you can ask Copilot to help you generate content for documents and presentations. Ask Copilot to analyse the data in your Excel spreadsheet and it will create a Pivot table automatically. You can even ask Copilot to help you with formulas and functions.
